here come the macks

one of my favorite things to do in the spring - load up some coolers and fill em up. all the little sabiki cuts, cleaning the boat for hours, packing them all up afterwards. always end up catching some decent early stripers and the occasional big cod. next week

my 1st wife didn't like me fishing so much

Macks, what macks

Hi all,

They were spotty today, 62 macks from four fisherman. Great day to be out on the water. Live lining to stripers, priceless!!! Sorry no striper pics...

Hopefully we do better tomorrow....

After a slow start things picked up about an hour after the low tide mark this morning.

Had a cod trip today and we were picking up the macs throughout the day.
The still beating hearts of a mackeral are pretty tasty according to Christian & the guys we took out today !!!
I think we got some footage on film !

I had to go farther north after searching all around the areas that I told you!
