Weekend Plans??
Anybody fishing this weekend? Anything Fishing related?
If my back is better (threw it out the other day) I might try some holdover action and then wrap a rod a little -
What's up for the weekend?

Off to Grand Cayman for a week. I will do as much fishing as my girlfriend will allow. She told me that this was not a fishing vacation. Keep warm.

Sounds good,
That's about what time I planned on being there too. I'm going solo. I'm leaving when the girls take their nap.

For anyone who wants to get out of the house on Saturday there is going to be a DN iceboat race at South Watuppa in Fall River from 10:30-4:00 on Saturday 3/1. Launching will be from state boat ramp in the Northwest corner of the lake.
Posted more details in the classified ice boat wanted here on this site.

Another Saturday party to cater tomorrow, then going to seen Gang Green on Sunday pm in Boston. Last time I saw those guys was during their reunion tour in 96. It was me and fifteen other degenerates froim MA @ CBGB's in the Bowery. Oh Boy, what fun.
Today was super busy, I'm in the midst of implementing a new menu.
Andrea's grandma just died (91+ years) so I spent the last 48 hrs. before today in funeral homes, pall bearing, etc. Not too much fun, everybody took it hard. I'm looking to have some fun, it's been a tough week.
Later,
Rick

-Pour and tie some more 1.5 oz jigs.
-Try to go out and acquire some more Pearl-Ex pigments, which are so difficult to find in craft stores around here.
-Clean some more reels.
-Write an article.

Gang Green huh?
Conjures up some memories. Think I knew the drummer in college. Knew the guys from the 'Freeze' too. They practiced a freinds basement. Ahhh youth...

Thinking of going to Prov. Try to catch some resident Striper at the power plant, or not. I'll be happy just to wet a line. This winter crap is getting old.

Thanks Chris,
Hey Jeff,
I heard the Freeze got together a few years ago, but I was in NJ at the time so I missed it...
Believe it or not I ahve their "Greatest Hits" CD (probably should be called "Only Songs The Freeze Ever Wrote")
I used to work with a girl in Yarmouth that told me The Freeze played the opening of the McDonalds in Yarmouthport in '79; now if there's not a disturbing mental image I don't know what one is.
Hope your icerace went well. Later, Rick
