Have you guys heard of this?

Heard this the other day and its been itchen my brain...
Take a cheapy turkey baster coat the inside with a mold releaser,
fill it up with a 2 part epoxy making a plug. Of course more detail involved but sounds like it would work.
Anyone seen it?

Messy and the plugs are very heavy.
