NE one up for Block this weekend?
Who might be up for taking the ferry over and dropping in at old harbor and making a night of it? Wind and tide are condusive ,the moon isnt helping but I have done well on the full moon there b4. Make no mistake it is not for the faint of heart it is along tough night. If the fishing is slow it is brutal, if its good it is a challange. You must be prepaired for the entire night with equip, water, eels, (Or plugs if you prefere, lol). Equip failure makes for a long long night on foot. If you cant run at least a mile its not for you. Hell it might not be for me I haven't slung my 1321m yet this Year, lol

Newbie, have spent a few long nites from rocks/jetties on mainland. Caught a few small, lost a big, former freshwater guy from Syracuse, NY. Block from all I have read seems to be THE PLACE--Moving this weekend and next, but would love to go out there with someone that knows their way....I hang in for the night too, not wimpy..do you need wetsuit? I prefer Eels, but this season fish seem to be unreliable....Let me know the details of how/where to start, and how to find out on this site when others are going.
Thanks--Rick Seifert

Long night, Paul R and i had 9 fish up to 22 lbs, Just enough to keep you going, missed alot of small fish. tell you one thing I won't start my season off like that again, lmao, that 1321m was making my shoulders sing by the end of the night, and the hip flexors joined rite in, ya the traps/delts/lats/ and lowerback were in the chorus too. It sucks getting old!!
