1 year old monster
thank god kids are cute. it's like living with a 25# godzilla. mom is working all weekend and he's giving me a run for my money. he's a 1 man wrecking crew pulling over lamps and fans. throwing matchbox cars at me, biting his brother just for fun. serenity now

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

Just wait until you have two of them. Mine just turned six and three....fighting, biting, throwing %$%$%$%$, live garden hose in my driver side window, noise, broken cd's, wife going crazy...
I wouldn't have it any other way, and I'm sure its the same for you.

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole

Bill Cosby said, you are not officially a parent unless you have two. If you only have one, you always know who did it!

Could be worse.....could be a teenage girl you're dealing with.

mom working
I agree, my wife works weekends mornings into mid afternoon and I watch my son. I cant wait for her to get home! I have a 2 year old and another on the way in a few weeks. Its a difficult tiring job that you cant explain to anyone who doesn't know from experience. I wouldn't trade it though. My son puts a smile on my face like nothing else can.

Bought my daughter a new life vest last week. When I brought it back to EMS the guy behind the counter asked if there was anything wrong with it. I told him to ask my 15 yr old daughter.
He understood.

Kids are tough to raise these days. Too much TV, electronics, and other BS. My 13 year old step daughter used to think I was cool 7 years ago until my son was born and she got jealous. She still is in some ways. My son is a lot like me which isn't the best thing but it is the most gratifying and soul s#^^^^^&g feeling all at once. I don't have enough energy and find my temper is a lot quicker these days. Every now and then I get a break though. My 13 year old is off to overnight camp for the next 6 weeks. I'm just trying to show my son the outdoors and hopefully when he's old enough he'll still want to do them with me.
