Mack Attack

Been going at it pretty good lately...fishing time has been limited(wife's fault ) so I've been down in the cave making plugs...some good stuff to follow... these are a couple musso pine jr's I just finished:

Still trying to come up with a mackerel stencil seeing I'm still using spray cans...any suggestions? The ones below were made by cutting a bunch of slits in a used toilet paper roll, then inserting the plug inside it.

System three clear works muuuuch better in warm weather too, never realized what a difference 10-15 degrees would make.

Great looking plugs Mike, awesome work.

The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. ~John Buchan

good stuff
I know where those will work

The United States Constitution does not exist to grant you rights; those rights are inherent within you. Rather it exists to frame a limited government so that those natural rights can be exercised freely.

1984 was a warning, not a guidebook!

It's time more people spoke up with the truth. Every time we let a leftist lie go uncorrected, the commies get stronger.

I like sharpies, then a light coat of clear. I don't think the fish care though.

I agree, the fish don't care...

Bbbbbbbuuuttttttttt, the more plugs I build the better I want them to look just for my own satisfaction. With each plug I make I can see the quality getting measurably better as the little things become second nature....my belly holes line up with the lip slots most times now, fewer mis drills, better finish, etc...some people are even catching fish on them. Still not sure whether they will last more than one season of use, but the mackerel thing has me hooked right now and there's no quitting until its mastered...

try a stencil in that clam shell plastic that everything comes with these days. A little heat and it's pretty moldable.

60 % of the time, it works every time.
