you mean the hip, young president with new and creative ideas has signed of on legislation requiring tons of new paperwork and non-value add administrative work further burdening small business?
I just can believe it. Next you'll tell me he is just an arrogant, self absorbed tax and spend democrat.

Had 2 Doc appointments, waited 3 hrs for one, and 1 Dentist appointment in the last 2 weeks.
Docs now require photo ID each time you go, no matter how many
years you've gone to them.
Dentist is required to use a new computerized X ray machine that stores
your x rays and personal info. on a computer.
He doesn't like it as before he would take 2 pics with a small cone, which was all
he needed. Now he needs 4 pics on a wider cone that spatters more radiation
as well as doubles the radiation to the patient.
Two more additions to HC.

Interesting. I was just at the doc 2 weeks ago for shoulder issues. Didn't ask for ID or insurance card.

With spot market prices for gold at nearly $1,200 an ounce, Heller estimates that he'll be filling out between 10,000 and 20,000 tax forms per year after the new law takes effect.
"I'll have to hire two full-time people just to track all this stuff, which cuts into my profitability," he said.
duh - cant you guys see how brilliant this is? Obama told you he would create jobs!

The irony of the whole thing is that some of these coin dealers probably supported the President on his healthcare bill!
Little did they know that they would be taxed out of their livelihood by the very bill they supported when the administration stuffed a hidden tax into the bill that nobody was allowed to read.

They said it wouldn't happen here...they said there would be no death squads...
Axe falls on NHS services - Telegraph
That's what they said here too...
This is what they have coming now... how long before it's here.
* Restrictions on some of the most basic and common operations, including hip and knee replacements, cataract surgery and orthodontic procedures.
* Plans to cut hundreds of thousands of pounds from budgets for the terminally ill, with dying cancer patients to be told to manage their own symptoms if their condition worsens at evenings or weekends.
* The closure of nursing homes for the elderly.
* A reduction in acute hospital beds, including those for the mentally ill, with targets to discourage GPs from sending patients to hospitals and reduce the number of people using accident and emergency departments.
* Tighter rationing of NHS funding for IVF treatment, and for surgery for obesity.
* Thousands of job losses at NHS hospitals, including 500 staff to go at a trust where cancer patients recently suffered delays in diagnosis and treatment because of staff shortages.
* Cost-cutting programmes in paediatric and maternity services, care of the elderly and services that provide respite breaks to long-term carers.

First, that article is about the UK health system.
Second, you can't have it both ways. An abundance of (potentially excessive) health care is one of the big reasons we have the issues that we do, particularly with the elderly.
Regardless, it's a long way from a death squad. Considering what my own private insurance does to my benefits (through my employer of course) I'd think they were trying to kill ME!

following in the footsteps of other failed systems is a great approach
WASSAMADDA?..THEY WON'T COVER YOUR VIAGARA?
"DEATH PANELS" was the term and if the state is rationing end of life medical care and making decisions as to who is worthy...that is absolutely a "death panel"

"Previously you were reimbursed for purchases of over the counter drugs like aspirin and Tylenol. Now you'll need a prescription for every purchase, even those over the counter."

I'm sure that Spence has a perfectly reasonable explanation as to why you will need a perscription for asprin under Obamacare and numerous reason as to why it is actually good and beneficial....if the guvmnt provides your healthcare, they own you and need to keep track of what you are doing with their body.....trust me...it's for your own good...

So...
if you buy Tylenol AND want a reimbursement, you might need a medical opinion first....
If you want it b/c you have a headache.... still there OUT OF YOUR OWN POCKET! which is exactly what we do now....
Bugger, I'll drop by some straws... your grasping...

The FSAs allow employees to set aside tax free dollars to use for medical expenses not covered by insurance.
The new provision caps spending at $2,500 per year. Previously you were reimbursed for purchases of over the counter drugs like aspirin and Tylenol. Now you'll need a prescription for every purchase, even those over the counter.
"Congress put some modest restrictions on some of these spending accounts with the goal of sort of preventing some of the abuses that were going on," said Rosman, "and sort of constraining it a little bit."
As for FSA restrictions, the goal is to curb unnecessary health care spending, thereby lowering costs for everyone.
so....let's see... if you are an employee with an FSA setting aside your tax free dollars to use for medical expenses not covered by your insurance and the new provision caps spending at $2,500 per year and previously you were reimbursed for purchases(from the money that you set aside yourself it appears) of over the counter drugs like aspirin and Tylenol now you'll need a prescription for every purchase, even those over the counter in order to reimburse yourself with your own money that you've set aside...
the FSA restrictions goal is to curb unnecessary health care spending, thereby lowering costs for everyone.
so by forcing you to get a perscription for things like asprin in order to reimburse yourself with the money that you've set aside for your own medical expenses above and beyone what your healthcare plan provides this will curb unnecessary health care spending, thereby lowering costs for everyone...???
makes sense to me....
wonder what else is in those 2000+ pages
I also liked the part about how they are hosing the very rich when they sell homes in order to pay for all of this...vampires searching for every drop of blood that they can find

Spoke to my Congressman yesterday, he said they are adding 16,000
more IRS Agents just for the HC plan!
Wonder if that was figured into all the savings?
There are 5 States who are suing over the constitutionality of HC
with Virginia leading the way.

Or have a Congress with enough common sense to see this
disaster is heading our country for financial Armageddon and cut off it's appropriations.
