Before you buy from sponsors or Rodbuilding .ORG
I think you guys should read this .It is about a lot of sponsors of the Rod building .ORG site that are taking your money and not filling orders for rod building supplies (wholesale & Reatil)
I have lost money and filed complaints along with lots of others.
Here is a quote from Tom K who is the owner/ moderator of the site about whats going on before he pulls the thread
"Here's the problem - XXXXXX is way down on the list of customer complaints, at least of those that make it to my desk. He's not even in the top 5 in terms of the emails I get regarding customer complaints against sponsors. So this isn't really about XXXXXX, it's about what should be allowed to be aired on this board."
2 of the other threads naming the other wholesalers/dealers have been pulled at this time and I have edited the name of the shop out in the quote above. If you want to find out more here is a link to this thread

Must be something about those 7 letter Sponsors? Hmmm?!?! OK, sit there, start counting which suppliers have 7 letters. The 5 which I've heard the MOST complaints from, ALL have 7 letters. lol!!!

Thanx.
I honestly don't like how the wrap came out. THe guy wanted Striped Purple/ Light Blue over Blue fish. I didn't like that, so I went and did what I thought looked better. Now that it's done, I should've made the Silver fish small, and the Purple over Blue fish larger. OH well, there's no way I'm doing it over, it took me like 9 hours and 3 re-do's to get it to come out right. He'll like it regardless, plus I'm not making a dime off the rod (for a friend).
I'll have a lot more to post over the next couple of months I hope. Some of the wraps I have planned I don't think I've seen anywhere, so I'm excited.

Another note about sponsors. If you have had a bad experiance with any of the sponsors, good luck telling others via the board. I had a post deleted about one of the new sponsors already.

Nice stuff Billy. I like the "different St J" too.
Do you have the patterns written up somewhere? You refernced a Clemnes catalog or was it in the book?

Salt - I used visualwrap. When I referenced CLemens catalouge, what I meant was the page which advertised teh Rodcrafter's Seminars - there were a few butt wraps there. I duplicated that pattern.
If you have Visualwrap, I can foward you whatever pattern you like.
