It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind

Yo Yo?

Is that the tactic that is banned in the marthas vinyard derby because it is unsporting? Yo Yoing should be banned, I have serious questions in regard to the ethics of those who practice this form of bass fishing.

Don't you know??......Those devices are pre-programmed at the factory to intermittently display fish. That same image will repeat after the 51st hour of usage. The entire program cycles over and over. If you take note of it...you will see the light.

...it finally happened, there are no more secret spots

First, the fish symbols are misleading.....any target including weed and bait shows up as a fish.

Secondly, looking for fish with a depth finder in 10 ft of water is a waste of time. Your sonar cone is about 3 feet wide and any fish you mark is getting out of there fast.

Thirdly, plugs work just fine........particularly Larry's pencils....from today.....about 11am, bright sun, 12 feet of water.

Was at the mouth of Scorton. There was nothing there until the ebb started. Within 20 minutes, they were showing like that in a 100' square foot area.

Unless you really adjust the sensitivity setting on some fishfinders (hummingbird 35 and 27, I had both), even the bubbles from the wake of another boat will show up as a huge school of fish.

No boat, back in the suds.
