I've been seeing at least one a day in Gansett. I give them direction to the Cape.

Wonder if it was the same one that cleared out the front of where I was fishing yesterday. Couple hours later a guy in a Yak, some 200 yrds off shore, hauled in a 40# plus. Felt good that I grabbed a schoolie as everyone else ch#^^^^^&g from land was skunked... during the day that is.

There's been a few offshore in SoCo the last two times I've been out.
Time to grab the rifle and scope.

I was lucky enough to hook one up a few weeks ago while snagging pogies. It ran real good for a while then it surfaced a long way off and I realized it was the seal. He then went under and attempted to spool me and I snapped it off. It would stink it was a nice plug but just the snag is okay with me...
