Out of curiosity...

Anyone know what the swivels in a BM danny are rated at? I had one completely mangled by a fish that I lost but it still held up. The 6x vmcs did not bend.

And I know that it does not necessarily mean that this was an 80# fish due to the leverage that can applied especially to dannys.

Thanks

Nope but I think all Danny's are rated #1 for giving a fish leverage.

Whatever the rating is it's sucky. I swear by that plug but the swivels are junk in comparison to crock or spro. I know a few guys that automatically switch them out before fishing them. I think BM also leads the plug building league in swivels missing the thru-wire percentage. The plugs that come with large swivels are just as disappointing. I personally don't change any of them out until they're truly mangled or broken but that's due to laziness.
