So, whats on this year's Christmas list?
I hope to venture out to deeper waters next year so on my list is:
- Charts of BI and surrounding waters
- Thinking of some type of EPIRB? They have some non-subscrition ones for @ $350. Most places I fish now are within swimming distance to shore, I'd hate to be overboard in the middle of the ocean, this would bring some piece of mind - anyone have a reccomendation?
- my wife and I will be trying to score on the Christmas sales for a laptop for home
Cant think of too much else I want.
So, whats on your list - fishing or non-fishing?

ACR was closing out models of EPIRBS recently to make way for new models. I picked up a personal one for around $200 marked down from $800 or something a month ago.

Are those good sewing machines? We have a couple at work that are sitting in storage right now. I thought about using one to try and make a plug bag with how much they are selling for now a days.

All Gone.....
I'm actually leaning towards an external too.......I have a Lacie and I'm happy w/ it looking at another one of those. Trying to keep it looking good as its hooked up to the living room Entertainment system.
But at $60 a pop......I'd be willing to lean internal

maybe a rod for canal/big plugs - thinking about the mojo. maybe pair it with a saltist (won't do the canal enough to justify a saltiga and i'm happy with VS for my non-canal fishing).
i wanted to new newbalance minimus trail sneaker, but its not avaiable until march
also have my eye on the llbean maine guide canvas briefcase, my black leather one is too formal for everyday use.
what i'd really like is time, but that isn't happening

I really don't need anything fishing related, or otherwise. I was planning on buying myself a Mojo and another backup reel, maybe a Spheros 8000FB. I guess they could go on a list of ideas for my wife. I'm not big on getting gifts at the holidays. Shopping for my family is much more fun for me, as long as it's mostly done online.
