TFCTFN

Any chatter on this must attend event yet? I'm bored.

It's not the bait
At the end of your line
It's the fishing hole
Where all the fish is blind

We should have a yankee swap this year.

Before or after we start drinking. We have a hard enough time getting through the raffle before sunrise the next day.

Boy, isn't that the truth. I bought 700,000 tickets and never won a thing. Mikey (redlite) felt so bad for me he kept trying to give me what he kept winning. All in all a great time and I will be there for sure again this year. Bringing the cheeze cake too.

No boat, back in the suds.

Absolutely the best wintertime social event of the year, without question. Katie and her da do a great job on the raffle.

Set the date ASAP because other groups will book the hall. Afterwards we can work out the details of entertainment.

How does Feb 26th sound ?

Originating from PA, I am not sure what you mean by a Yankee swap, but I am guessing they have similar traditions in Kentucky?

No, no, no. we’re 30… 30, three zero.

How about we just go right from dinner to the raffle!!??That solves who to get for entertainment . Every 20 minute entertainer has gone on for an hour so no entertainment will get us done before midnight.

It is The Too F@*&*# Cold To Fish Night.

A get together of biblical proportions in Fairhaven MA at a VFW Hall. Everyone brings food, plugs, fishing equipment. We have a raffle that benefits the site ( I think that's where the money goes) and it is one of the best damn times you can have in Feb with your clothes on.
Usually all of the normal and abnormal suspects from this Board show up. Last year I sat with a bunch of the crazies and I laughed so hard all night that I went home with a belly ache.
There is an Holiday Inn next door where a lot of the guys stay so they don't drink and drive. I dont drink so I make the ride back to NW RI. I think I got home abot 2:30 AM last year.

DO NOT MISS THIS EVENT!!!

I will try my best to make another fly vise to raffle off again. I'm not promising as I have quite a bit of plug related side work, promises, so far this year and it looks like no end in sight, but I'll do my best. Hopefully I can have it done for plugfest so we can get some $$ raised before we get to the too cold nite.

There isn't a raffle on the entire east coast anywhere that rivals the one at TFCTFN, nowhere.

If it's scheduled for either of the last 2 weeks of February, I'll be there. I haven't made it to one yet, but am looking forward to it.
