Attention nerds

In the middle of a cut...crash...hard reboot and my disks disappeared? Is this a virus? Bad disk?

It's currently sitting on the second screen right now.

* plays taps * - good by hard drive, but there is a chance that the slot on the mobo bought it, swap the IDE ribbons with the CD rom drive that is showing up weird on the screen,

Make sure that the IDE cable is snug on the drive? Make sure the jumper on the hard drive is tight, secure?

Reboot!

Given the diversity of the human species, there is no “normal” human genome sequence. We are all mutants.

I told you 4 years ago you need to rethink how you do 'puting and put more of a disaster prevention bend in it - kinda like you do on the one computer at home.

RAID disks, with monitoring and alerts, maybe some low wattage / SFF RAID SSD system. It would be an interesting discovery process

I reworked the formulation drive so that the side video processor changed memory defrags, then I cut the microprocessor speed to enable bi annual calibration of the usb stick. was easy right skippy

translate that to SOME NUMB #^&#^&#^&#^& left the usb stick in the front of the computer then picked the computer up and set it down on the front. Squished that #^&#^&#^&#^&er flatter than lady gaga's boobies man.

It had ALL the files for that machine on it and was the only backup. I fixed it. All usb sticks go in the back of the machines now

He makes a mean cup of instant coffee, i'll tell yea....
Just kidding

The USB stick snaped almost in half he took it apart and re soldered it back together. Got the pc to read it and we pulled all the files off it. this was after we got the PC up and running again( hard drive went bye bye ).
