MA. south shore get together
hello all, i mentioned this to VAN and SPECIALIST a few weeks ago. maybe a get together over some viddles and a few cocktails some where near Quincy.seeing how sat.is supposed to be a rainy and crappy day, might be a good day for us south shore residents to meet and greet.ya know talk about the bad winter and the good fishing to come. just throwing this out there to see if there's any interest on maybe getting together SAT.for some old fashioned fish tales. don't know where to meet maybe the locals have a spot?

I am supposed to be doing a herring run clean-up saturday, but I'm not sure if it will be postponed due to weather, or what time it will be over.
If I have time, I'm in.
Need to have a few more people though.
What are you thinking, afternoon-evening-night ??

I am sick. Been pretty much bed ridden the whole week. I doubt I could make anything this weekend anyway, my mother inlaw is here visiting from San Diego.

That sounds good; a little more notice will make it easier.
Still have plenty of time before the season is real hot.

Bad weather or not, the boat is being uncovered and brought home this weekend..... Cod fishing is first.

Van the clean up is a go no matter what the weather. I think you usually finish around noontime. I won't be there this year, i'm on nights this weekend.
Remind me to look at the boat for U.

Beetle:
I got the boat home and got a look at the spot, it ain't as bad as I thought.
I bought some (marine-tech ??) repair kit, and I think that should do it, but I will get your opinion first, maybe gel-gloss repair would be better.
Herring run clean-up was nasty cold rain/sleet/snow.
Loads of fun, I worked for about 3 hours clearing brush
from over hanging into the water.
Did not see any fishies though.
See you soon.
