Just got in from Lakeville! Good time! Got lost in the woods but all is good now! Sorry if I disturbed anyone but the metamorphosis is quite painful.....especially when the clothes tear from my body! Tired......must sleep now......."baying" at the moon really sucks the life out of you! G'night!

could be an owl . I have heard them hooting at night this winter but what a sound. Could be a fisher cat although I have never heard one but I live in an area that would probably support them very well. It wasn't big fish as the thing was screaming not complaining.

There's a few YouTube videos of fisher cats screaming... can't imbed off my phone. Give them a listen, definitely blood-curdling!

I hear that once in a while around here at night. It must be some animal (perhaps a large bird) that's been injured and is dying? Not sure but it's really loud.

FISHER is no cat
paul ....it was 1of 2 things either larry or a fisher.also there is no cat on fisher .just fisher ....hold the cat. fishers are tree climbing day/night feeding large dark weisel family, that eat tree rats ,birds ,bunnys etc. very rare to see .

Cross a Weasel with a Badger and you have a Fisher Cat.......Nasty animals. Blood Curdling Screams.
They had one take up residence in the Courtyard in the building at the Elementary school here in Georgetown a couple of years ago....Kids thought it was the coolest thing....Moms, not so much

Funny, I never knew there wasn't a 'cat' on the end.
Last week I watched one run across the parking lot at work, at about 10am. Definitely unexpected.
