Cod Closure south of IOS

This was on another site, thought it was worth passing along. The removal of hooks and baits while transiting the area, is gonna be interesting

Sounds like a similar situation to the striped bass fishing in the Chesapeake. Good move.

I've fished that entire area all my life... up until 5 years ago, you could count the boats... now.. you need an accountant and a calculator... I havent fished whale back proper in as many years, plenty of productive water all around the mud hole... and you'll be all alone..

A good run is better than a bad stand!
