boat rod recommendation

I am looking for a pair of boat rods, will be used for the following - chunking / live pogies (if I can get them) and surfing rubber squid and or sluggos into rips. Fairly all purpose needs so was thinking cheaper rather than high end on these. Anyone with suggestions?

ugly stick makes a Tiger rod in both spinning and conv...good solid rods for short money...
