RI SW License, Report Violations #
Got my RI license today for saltwater, at my local bait and tackle shop, took like 5 minutes and they even laminated it for me.
The thing I noticed was at the bottom of the license it has the number to call to report violations.
I have called them in the past and they do show up, sometimes very fast.
They cant be everywhere at once and there under staffed, so if you see something at least think about calling it in. Every little bit helps.
Last year when the albies came in there were a group of old timers scup fishing at the rocks next to us, each with about 30 fish a piece and not one of them legal, when I asked them if they knew the rules and regs they were rude and told me to mine my f$$$$$ business, would expect that from kids but not old salts. Wish I had the number that day.
Its in the phone now and Im sure will be calling it.
