i had new 150 two stroke etec installed from eagle marine, i ask , what kind of oil should i use. he tells me that 50/50 syn evenrude or the 100 grade syn oil .but if trolling alot use the 100 grade.... i would rather just use was is best for the motor ,and stay with that......what do you e-tec guys use .thanks dave....ps its a 3to 5 yr turn key deal .....yahoo.

I have only used the XD100 synthetic.

Check out this to purchase oil www.domo-online.com I'm not sure but I think Van posted this site a few weeks back. I saved 10 bucks a gallon.

if your motor is set for XD 100 you can't use the 50.

this is correct. I would set it to run on the xd 50. you can also set it run on plain tcw3. keep in mind that if you're in a jam you might not be able to get what you need if you are set for 50 or 100. good idea to make sure you have plenty of extra around.

Has all the formulation to fight carbon build up. Smokeless, and way better for longevity of your powerheads.
