I have never seen so many herring here in Wakefield. This is a great thing to see.

Saw some in swansea yesterday, so there way up this season.
and with the bunker boats not being able to go into the prov river and other areas it should be a good season in the rivers.

Nebe - Are they successful climbing the fish ladder? Not that I doubt they do, but it looks daunting.

There were some in Fall River being chased. Probably some decent holdover fish. I wasn't fishing so I couldn't find out.

cape cod times had an article today on the brewster run. said it hasnt had many in there yet due to temps just below the required.... thats the reason huh?

Its great that the runs are strong. Now if we can get the boats that are taking the herring as close to 100% observership.. That would be awesome. Recs. Shouldn't have to be burdened with a ban so comms. Can increase the take of the species that's under ban to rec. Fishermen. For lobster bait  or skillets in Russia.

Went to a run warwick... Douche bag and his kid saw me coming and threw a bagg full of them behinde a tree.....dem took one hour to get there...way to teach your child to poach.... Morons are everywhere.
