This is the worst weekend of the year.

Every year right about this time i really go nuts at the house. The gear is all sorted and readied for the season. I know i could probably scratch out a schoolie or 5 but im not wasting the gas for it. The blow makes it an easier decision to stay home. So close, so very close.

Everything is better on the rocks.

wind

too windy to get out after work, waves under a foot but it sucks in 20 plus wind for the boat driver...unless theres a ton of fish then no one notices lol too early to beat myself to death for a fish or two..

its no ones fault

Didn't miss much on the coast this weekend Rob. I had high hopes, but the blow kinda kiboshed that. Not for a lack of trying, either.

My guess is the first little one of my traditional early spring spot (itchy ta ta's nebe/RIR) will be caught mid-week. I'll be trying again on Thursday.

Obviously then you don't own enough gear. Go buy some more.
