Are things catching up with these nice days lately
Seems like it was a colder than normal spring and everything fish calender related was behind schedule. Do you think things have started catching up since the nicer days have rolled in? I'd be curious to see what an average water temp vs date graph looks like and compare it to this year. I think I've seen that data around somewhere too. Its usually for a specific area but its available for many different specific areas so a general regional idea could be had by looking at data from all around.

I saw some yellow dandelions in my lawn yesterday. That and the forsythia blooming marks the beginning of active trout in local streams

Today's STRONG wind and warm temps should help warm up the top layer of water quite nicely... the wind is howling around Boston
