4 New Nikes... medium and large

After seeing some nice original Floyd Roman Nikes last Saturday in Bourne and getting inspiration from Sargent Striper I turned a pair of medium and a pair of full size (7.5 inch) Nikes on Sunday and etexed them last night.

Not thrilled with the eTex quality (fisheyes and thin spots) but the fish will not care... lol.

The mediums are AYC (one is a blank that SS sent me that was primed and sanded like glass...) the large ones are Basswood and sealed for 75 minutes.

I will test them off the cape on Saturday to see how they swim.

Chris, good job on the large ones! You can thank Paul (Prof M)who was so helpful and inspired me to become a Nike freak. They should swim great. I use a 2/0 and a flag on the Jr., also they cast very well.

Chris those are great!!!

Always loved the old stuff, I recently was lent a box of plugs by a friends dad who fished the canal for many years back in the day.

There's a Floyd roman dart dart in there that was given to his great uncle by Floyd himself one day at the canal.

Lots of history in that one plug.
