Scale me be a bit rusty. No mal intent /meanness whatsoever but that fish is lighter than 17#/ Nice blue though. Hope I don't catch any this year.

The 17# I caught (looking at pic on wall) looked like an entirely different animal given its size! Huge belly, enormous head and shaped more like a tuna/football!!!

17 lb Blue
This blue was just 17lbs when caught. What you are looking at is the fish that was gutted 5 hours prior having 2 whole fish and multiple squid removed from its gut. When landed, it's belly was very distended and it looked more football-like. Sorry for the confusion.
