Tuna Plugs
I'm green and I'm putting together some plugs to throw at Charlie, was wondering if your guys could chime in on your ''must have'' plugs.

Drop to bottom and work up aggressively.
Or drop to bottom and work a depth for 15-30 secs then another depth and so on.
Or dead stick one while casting another.

I like a number of the ocean lure plugs, sp heavys, peanut, darter. Put a ronz on 4x jighead. You can fish it vertically as Moses says or cast into breaking fish, rip it thru or jig it thru the school. Alot of time you need a heavier jig head to cast farther to reach the school and/or and avoid the shearwaters getting the bait.

Jeff and Mike are spot on. I have done very well on top with Got Stryper's. They seem to commit suicide for them.

I just picked up the Maguroni, it looks awesome! How do you set it up with hooks? I was thinking one treble off the back? I'd like to put a single for better catch and release percentage but i haven't found a single strong enough.

You have to put the belly hook on it for it to swim correctly.
