Boston Whaler project
I am going to restore a 13 Whaler. I am looking for the hull now. I thought I would start a thread on the project. If any body has any leads on a dry hull, send me a pm. Its ok if needs some work. I am also looking for a bunk trailer. I already have an engine. I will post some pics of the outboard later.

Several guys on Noreast and the Hull truth have done this. There is a good source of parts, but I don't remember offhand who or where it is. Good luck, they are fun little boats.

duxbury bay used to be full of them 20+ years ago. Their local paper the 'duxbury clipper' might be a good place to run a "looking for ..." ad.
Good luck, I spent a lot of time playing around on a 13ft whaler with 35hp evinrude (that would start religiously on the 30th pull.)
It's amazing the amount of water those boats can hold and not sink the engine.

Great boats for kids. Had three of them at one time in my late teens. Used them as work boats for a little boat company we ran. We would also chase the tugs coming and going from the Salem power plant and tail hop their wakes... managed to only flip one on two occasions... My father offered to have the hulls awlgripped one winter. He had them done in a light blue, so he could tell from across the harbor if it was one of us speeding through the mooring field...

I would love to see that article. I plan on setting it up for fishing. And then I will let me son have it when hes old enough.
I took a ride down to Swansea to see a 13 today. It was way to rough.

Probably not what you're looking for, but passed a yard in Hingham this A.M. with 2 of them parked beside the road. Both fully rigged with motor and trailer. I didn't get out of the car to look at them-one with a 25 hp Yam.-$4500-the other with a newer Tohatso-$5000 if I read the signs right. A little pricey for a restoration. On West Street if you're interested.
