Cowboy Jr specs

Does anyone have some specs on a cowboy jr? I got my hands on some beautiful 3.5 x 3.5 x 7.5 balisters and want to turn some chunky plugs.

Thanks as always and any help is apperiacted.

Some where I have some pics I took of one so I could dupe it. I'll dig them up and post if someone doesn't beat me to it.

Hope these help

Let me know if you have questions. I no longer have the plug, but I'm sure someone on here can fill in any details, such as finished weight, lip source, amount of belly lead (right behing the belly grom, and it looks pretty big), wood type, etc..

I'd copy and paste to Power Point, get the length to match that on the ruler (pull the image by the corner to keep the length to width scale correct) in the first pic, and then print. Take the dimensions off the print out as they will be to scale if the length is correct. If you need help I can do that for you.

Enjoy,
W

Wow thanks Woody!! I'll try and see if I can figure out the scaling and print it out.

I'm sure I can find the rest of the details on the net.

I think the lip is pikie 3 with the edges bent up. I know that's what is used on the regular cowboy.

Thanks again man, I'll send you a couple once I get around to turning them.

Thanks- I'd love a blank once you them dialed.

Nothing better to do so I messed around with it and came up with the following...

Widths moving back from nose in 1" increments:

Nose- .9"
1" back of nose - 1.4"
2" back of nose - 1.6"
3" back of nose - 1.55"
4" back of nose - 1.25"
5" back of nose - .87"
Tail - .81"

Hook hole - 2" back of nose
Belly weight - Immediately adjacent to hook hole, but larger.
Slope on head - 1.7" back of nose measured from back end of slope down downward, not along the slope from nose back.

Maybe someone with a CBJr. in hand can verify these since we ar working off of photos?

That's a sweet looking plug! Exactly what I want to do with that stock.

What does it weigh?

I finally got around to using these measurements and turning a few blind Cowboy jrs. Here are a few pics of the blank with a Conrad Lip and a big .5", 11g belly wt.

Thanks for the measurements....
