New to Surf Fishing

Hey all, i am really considering hitting the surf fishing hard this fall and next season, I cant afford to run my boat anymore and have to fish adleast 3 days a week to stay sain. I am new to the whole surf thing and have got the basics, ( waders, tons of gear, 10ft surf rod ) but want to get more into it. I never really fish at night but it seems like everyone does. I have always been a dawn dusk type. I live in wareham and fish all over buzzards bay. Just wondering if anyone is ever looking for a fishing buddy.

Might look into joining a local club. I have found it helped my fishing in more than any other investment I could make in the sport, plus, I have a bunch of new friends. Join a club, volunteer to help out in some way. You'll start to get snippets of advice, that will turn into an outing w/other members and pretty soon you'll be going out your required 3 times a week with a group of buds.

my 2 cents

It's always darkest just before it goes pitch black.
