Too Damnby early for snow
I can't believe we already have to deal with snow! I had 2 inches last night that was frozen solid on the car this morning. Now another maybe 5 tomorrow into Sunday. Makes fro a long winter when it starts so early.
I remember a foot on Thanksgiving one year but significan't snow before Halloween is pretty rare in my lifetime.
Anyway , it sucks dealing with the white stuff so early.

Pretty sure it was 1989! I have a pic of my Dad right here taken on Turkey Day 1989......snowblowing the driveway and it looks like at least a foot!

The good news is it should flush out a lot of the protesters camping out along the east coast cities...the tent people did not seem like the outdoor type to me.

Anyone live in the Wrentham, Franklin, Foxboro, Plainville, Mansfield ect.. area interested in driving a 1 ton plow truck.
Driver I had for the past few years can't drive for me and thought I had another guy lined up but called him today to make sure he would be around and he starts giving me a story he has his kid this weekend ( can't take a kid plowing state roads) and he doens't want to get a DOT health card, blah blah blah ect........
Anyone interested and have a clean driving record, dot health card, live as close to Wrentham Ma. and don't mind long hours when it snows
let me know

Cape Ann was speared the snow. Heavy rain and winds gusting to 43mph., and just seven miles away they had four inches of snow. Drove around the city earlier and there were no trees down and never lost electrical power. now we just need to dry out. air temp was 35 degrees and ocean water temp is 54 degrees which prevented our area from getting snow with winds coming off the ocean.

Unfortunately my magnolia was not ready for this white stuff. I had not lost a leaf yet so something had to give. aaarrgh.That and the 60' white pine that snapped in half and is blocking the drive way.What a bummer.

Snowtober snow totals - Google Maps
Good Map for snow totals, fortunately for us in SE MA, it was mostly an inland event.
