Jupiter & moon

Tonite are 10 degrees apart in the sky. Doesn't happen often.

nebes is sour for sure

I did not see the asteroid. I looked also. I figured you'd be able to see it but I could not. Had trees in the way of parts also.

I read you needed at least a 6" optical telescope to see the asteroid.

yea I think your right. They said a well equipped backyard astronomer. That rules out naked eye. I was out looking anyway, even though the sky was pisser clear I didn't see it. I have been regularly seeing satellites in the mornings though. Gotten good at spotting them.

Just saw a brilliant meteor streak from overhead NE to SW for almost 1/3 of the sky... Best one I've ever seen.

I think that is one of the clearest brightest moons I've ever seen. Tomorrow is full moon I think?
