Question Anyone have feedback on "Garmin GPS Map 162"

#^&#^&#^&#^&'s have it on sale.
Is this a simple unit to use, will it fit on a yak or is this unit is to large to put on a Yak?

Anyone with feedback positive or negative are welcome.

I run the 162 with the bluechart software and external antenna, it works perfectly and is very easy to use....

I was looking at the one that have an internal antenna and fish finder. (at least thats what it looks like the ad says)
Quote:
Deep/Shallow Water Alarms--Provides you with deep and shallow water alarms, along with 3 size fish alarm.
Am I mistaken or does it have the depth/fish finder also?

Thanks,

I'll have to continue looking for a combo unit (use less space on the yak)

It sounds like the add was for the Garmin GPSmap 168 sounder.
Identical looking units. But the 168 includes Depth and fish.

This is the link to the product I'm trying to evaluate. It definitly says "Garmin GPS Map 162 Global Positioning System With Internal Antenna" not 168.
Garmin GPS Map 162 Global Positioning System With Internal Antenna

I read this be both a GPS and a fishfinder...

Yup that's what it says.

If you can get them to stand by the advertised features 299's a pretty good deal.
