Cod fishing
I'm going Cod fishing this winter, would like some in put on rod & reels that would work best from a head boat!

Are you goin out of RI? Lighter tackle than what you would use out on stellwagen. I have used my bigger sticks and 4/0 reel in RI and it was a bit of over kill since your in about 100' of water or so.
Everything is better on the rocks.

Pretty simple a penn jigmaster filled with 65 pound braid and any rod than can handle a 16 ounce sinker.
