I woke up @ 0500 and found my entire house temp at 55 degrees WTF!?!?!?

My daughter had a sleep over and turns out her girlfriend saw the emergency cut out switch on the wall and prolly said hummmmmm whats this swich for

46 in my house right now. I went to bed at 10 and just got up. I woke up at 3 AM and couldn't get my arse outta bed to stoke the stove.

46 degrees? Nope, not gonna happen. The lowest I'll let it get in our bedroom is 59, and that's just because our heat sucks and it'll be 64 in the rest of the house. 59 is still way too cold.

Haven't had a hard frost here yet...a very light one early in the morning the other day but that was only because we had no wind. Hard to get a freeze when you are surrounded by an infinite heat sink/source that is at 48 deg right now. It is chilly right now though...maybe 30 deg

It's 9 here right now. House kept up last night it's 68 in the kitchen with the stove on 4. Sweet!

It's 42 in the shop right now oh joy

LOL sounds like a heat wave down there.At 3 this am couldn't see the 0 cause the temp arm on thermometer was in the way. Still 68 in house though. glad we have a small place heats easy.

the electric oil filled radiators
have built in thermostats and work pissah
plus you can warm and or dry your clothes on them too
hot towels for the bathroom are nice as well

Had the Quadra-Fire going in the kitchen and the Vermont Casting Encore going in the living room. Got too warm (75 degrees) so I shut down the Encore. 68 when I got up this morning and I never touched the kitchen stove after 9:30 last night.

No boat, back in the suds.

LOL They say we had no temp last night. Yup thats right 0. LOL From 54 the other day. Nice to work into cold weather slow LOL. Well at least it's makin ice for ice fishing.

oh I wouldn't discount any ice just yet. I saw a pond in Westboro today that had a pretty healthy layer of ice on it. 80% of the pond was covered and this was not a small pond.

Eleven outside and 71 degrees inside this morning at 3:30 a.m. when the dog had to go. Worked out good though, stoke the fire during the dump, and when I arose this morniing at 6:15 a.m. it was 72 degrees inside downstairs.
