Adding 3" to the butt of a rod???
I think I know the answer but I figure I'd turn to the experts, I'm looking at a gsb 1081m with 3" added to the butt, would the added length effect the action of the rod? I'm thinking no, but just wanted to check.
Thank's Matt

A friend of mine has exactly what you want. It happens that he is selling it. He doesn't use it anymore.

LOl You guys are nuts. time to go fishng maybe after those Tuna at Naragansett peir. Make sure you use slow cure epoxy on that adon and use thread if needed to make sure you have no wobbble in the add-on as it WILL cause a failure in time. Not all that hard to do and the only change in the action will be spacing of guides and reel seat location.

Best part is that if it is too much for you, you can just cut off a few inches .
