Replacement for felt soles.

Just had my felt soles replaced with rubber soles on my Orvis breathable boot-foot chest waders, local cobbler in North Providence did a excellent replacement with rubber soles.

North Providence shoe and luggage 1759 Mineral Spring Ave 401-353-6758
I had big lug soles, and i can put my cleats on over them for slippery rocks.

Care to share how much it set you back? That could be a handy resource as I have 3 felt soled waders. Thanks for posting the info.

$60:00 still better than buying a new high end wader.

Sorry but I will take the risk of wearing my felt soles in RI. Has to be the dumbest thing I have ever heard of. Is there some unknown form of andromonous rock snot out there? Sounds like a severe case of having one's head up their a**!

I should clarify that I don't mean you have your head up your a** for changing your felt soles but whoever put this into law in RI. Makes you wonder about those in charge.
