Wish me luck

Going under the knife in a bout 4 hours to repair my meniscus. Not a big deal. I'm more hungry than anything else. Nothing to eat or drink since 11:00 last night and the surgery isn't until 3:00. Bring on the meds!

I know all too well about knee issues... dodged a major bullet last week with a sprained MCL instead of a tear.. but I've torn cartiliage before.. not fun.... I'd rather wear a brace for a month or so instead of letting them cut me.. did that with my shoulder and it wasn't any fun.. good luck.. listen to what they tell you to do.. and the recovery will be quick...

A good run is better than a bad stand!

Good one George.

I've always wondered what nurses do when you're under.

Get well soon Mike.

Do as you are told. You are young enough that this will correct the issue. I only wish I had that option.... With so much arthritus, my only upside option is a total replacement....

I'm home. All female nurses. I trimmed the shrubbery last night just in case. Feeling pretty good considering. I had the best cheeseburg grinder from d'angelo's I've ever had on the way home. Winter break next week. I'm hoping for a chance at a pike near the end of the week if I can find some ice. Thanks for the well wishes. Bring on Spring!

Ask them to install a grease fitting, this should resolve future issues.

Best of luck

Ahh, he did fine. I think I'm in for round three next year. Didn't slow him down a bit on the ice!
