Goose & GB - thanks for an awesome night (fishing )! Was a howl and an adventure
Don - you left a little early!
Was one of those days, first cast of the Smoke 7" Split Tail Ledgerunner (a little plug ) was on to a 6# fish and the night was on. I have no idea how many fish were caught last night by the 5 of us (musta been over 300) but it was a howl ...

I was forced into an early retirement last evening courtesy of Shimano Corsair Reels!!!
I'm tempted to use it as a depth finder!
I later heard about what the rest of the evening had in store!!!
Wish I could have been there.... but I had a BLAST nonetheless!
Gotta git me some of dem Ledgerunners Split Tail Thingy's!!!
They call them Smoke because they smoke from being hit so much!!!
Must be the friction incurred after 100's of HITS!!!

I have them baits and I'm going tonight with a friend to put them to good use. I hope you and GB didn't sting all the fish...lol.
Was out late every night this week, getting into that fish late, feel whipped grove....tired but happy.

Hey Greg, sorry I didn't call you tonight, I left my phone in the truck and well the fish were biting. Slow early bite, but just before high slack and especially after the turn it was intense. Serious striper thumb, fresh fish for the first bbq and even had a luner eclipse, well when I cared enough to look up .

Them Ledgerunners aren't bad. They're not Penetrators, to be sure, but then, what is?
Man what a gas I had last night Bob. My thumbs are hamburger. Of course I am lucky my extremities are still attached to my body after the death ride home. I did make record time, however, which left me with that little bit of extra sleep I needed to make a special impression upon my early appointment today (she is more convinced than ever that I am indeed an absolute moron). Now if I can just find som place to hide and cat nap so I can stay up again all night tonight and play the blues.
LIFE IS GOOD.
