No/So River Reports?
I used to have more success in the spring fishing the North & South Rivers as opposed to the beach. The last few years however, have been more productive off the beach in Humarock or Greenharbor.
Has anyone tried the rivers this year? Any reports?

I haven't tried either of them yet. I know Beamie could cast from his living room into the North river so maybe if he's around he'd know. The South River is at the bottom of my street(fish ladder) but I haven't tried it yet. Maybe this weekend I'll try. Dux bay had transient schoolie action for me last weekend so my guess is both rivers should have fish in them.

Been working on the boat and will be away next week. Haven't wet a line yet but if there is bait there I am sure there is at least some schoolie scouts. With the warmer weather it should be hoppin by 5/1. Ususally really hopping May 10th on for a few weeks.
I will walk down the hill with some sluggos tomorrow and let you know.
