BI this weekend
I am heading out to the Block this weekend for my annual trip to open up my girlfriend's house. Has anyone fishing the island yet? I was wondering if there were any bait around?
Thanks

Bill,
I saw a report yesterday from Capt. Al Anderson out of PJ that he chartered out a group of guys to BI this past week and did very very well. The fish are there!

Jamie - She does have a sister but she is married and she does enjoy going out to the Block very much.
Bill - Nice to see a post from you. When I first started fishing BI about 6 years ago you gave me some tips that really helped me find fish. I appreciate that and since then I have discovered many places that hold fish and I know which tide and wind direction to fish those places. Finding those places has been the most rewarding part of fishing there.

Ya, I pretty much lost the fishing bug, after acheving all I wanted to fishing and now having family and other responsibilities I just cant go the way I like to which is 100% or nothing but, when I saw a block island post I just could not pass it up! That has always been and will always be the best place on the planet to catch stripers bar-none! I feel bad for people who have not experianced a night casting from shore on that gem of an island. It is the holy mecca of bass fishing!!
Good luck out there!
