Up for auction, are these plugs that were generously donated in 2006 for display at the Sail Loft (now Melville Grille) waterfront restaurant. This collection of plugs and tins represent some of the best talent across the region. This is a unique opportunity to collect (and fish) elite plugs from top professionals as well as difficult to get home builders.

Notes: Shows a little age on the swivel and face but is new / hand signed / sweet profile


Great care has been made to ensure the plugs have been kept in the same condition in which they were donated. All plug weights are approximate or in some cases estimated. Builders, please feel free to add any additional information you think would benefit the auction.

Winning bidders may pick up locally in the Fall River, MA area or have them shipped at no additional cost (Lower 48 only).
100% of the price goes directly to help soldiers suffering from traumatic brain injuries connected with their service in Iraq and Afghanistan. I am going to cover shipping. The winning bidder will make payment directly to the charity through my fundraising page via credit card or check. All donations are tax deductible.

Thank you very much for your generous donation of $100.00 to the Red Sox Foundation for the 2012 "Run-Walk to Home Base" fundraising event presented by New Balance. Your donation will support the “Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Home Base Program” which provides services for veterans with combat stress and/or traumatic brain injuries and their families.

We embarked upon the Home Base Program in late 2009 in recognition that many of our servicemen and women are coming home from Iraq and Afghanistan with PTSD and/or traumatic brain injury, which have become what defense officials have called two of the "signature wounds" of this war. The Home Base Program includes clinical care and family support services, research and an educational component to share best practices with health care providers, social workers, clergy and others across New England and beyond.

Through the Home Base Program, we hope to impart our community’s "teamwork" with the brave men and women who serve our country and let them know that it's not a weakness to ask for help, but an act of courage. As Red Sox pitcher and MLB’s 2010 Roberto Clemente Award winner Tim Wakefield says: "Because being on a team means never having to face a challenge alone."
