Smile Surfcasting Connecticut River Near Middletown

I was hoping if anyone knew of a spot or two thats accessible on the Middletown side of Ct. river or south to go for spring stripers.

Hi Jack welcome to SB.

Your probably not going to get any spot information on this site, in the past naming spots has lead to issues with overcrowding, poaching, littering and in some cases access being shut down so guys are understandably tight lipped about naming specific spots on the internet. I would suggest stopping in at the Fishin Factory in middletown and talking with the guys there I am sure they can point you to a couple of productive spots on that stretch of the river.
