Mackerel R N the harbor...today that is....how long will they stay ...that is unknown...all summer I hope....the NW corner was loaded with mackerel 3 days ago

Sunday morning there were plenty of Mac's just outside the breakwater and Bracies Cove. some boaters were filling their coolers.

Just some smaller schools of mackerel are making it into the inner harbor for us shore-bound jiggers. Been using the few I have been getting to lure bass up to 25# in the river. Big squid in the area too...
