9 foot, 1 piece batson 1088, cork grip, fuji guides, rated 1-3.
2 oz. seems to be the sweet spot for plug weight.

Spud Tyler used a Batson 1088 all year last year I got from Slip...nice rod. He caught quite a few nice sized fish on that last year with no problem.

Is this a full 9' blank or the later 8'10" (shortened for shipping) model? Who wrapped it and when? Where in RI are you? Thanks.

full 9' blank. i actually don't know who wrapped it. i bought it off luds who is a reputable source here on the site. so it's all legit. maybe he'll chime in on the wrap job. i'm in billerica mass, not RI. |

Bought from Luds... you're right. Saw the 'ri" in your signature and just figured. I have the same 9' blank as a conventional and it is a great blank. Maybe CMS built it if it came from Luds. Tell him to call me if you talk with him by the way. Good luck great price on a great plugging rod. |

I bought that rod from Mike @ M and D's when he was blowin out custom 1088 maybe 5 years ago? Hell of a deal then and still a hell of a deal in this thread.
