Late June (23-30 or so) Charter recs?

A coworker knows that I fish and assumes I know my charters as well. I don't.

He is looking to take his son out as a graduation present on a charter late June. He has no specific fish in mind, but would like to use "a big reel" and head out pretty far.

Any recs on fish to target in late June, where to head out of and to, and specific charter captain recommendations? Is that too early for Tuna?

I'm a bay bass and blues kind of guy and out of my element.

late june isn't too early but wouldnt be my pick for setting up a tuna charter. coastal charters if they want to cast/jig for them. how about a shark trip south of mass/ri ? would probably get more action. even a bluedog is fun on a spinning rod. maybe some of the rhoddy guys would have a better idea on late june sharks down there

my 1st wife didn't like me fishing so much

Thanks for the tip. I passed the idea along and he seemed to like it.

Late June would be pretty close to the ideal time for a shark charter. Might even sneak in a little time trolling for tuna.
