Charter trip on Cape with a 6-year-old?

My family will be on the Cape from June 16-23. Still need to decide which house, either in Easthamor Truro.

My 6 year old son wants to fish on a boat. Thus far, his fishing has been limited to catching a few bluegills at a local pond with his Snoopy Zebco setup.

Is there a type of fishing appropriate for a kid that young, that we can enjoy? Scup fishing? Maybe light-tackle trolling for schoolie stripers? Maybe we can try for a larger fish with me holding the rod and helping the reel?

Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also, if anyone can recommend a good, family friendly captain in that area, we would appreciate that too. Thanks guys.

Thumbs up

Call Rich at Nelson's in P-Town. Beth-Ann Charters. You won't find a more family friendly guy and you could wind up with your picture in the paper.
