Any word from southern Maine?

Taking my usual trip there the first couple of weeks of August. Have heard a little bit that it's either really good or terrible with almost nothing in between. Anybody have some first hand experience? Not looking for spots, just you general thoughts on how it's looking. Thank you.

Its very good from my perspective. Throwing plugs from shore has produced consistent results for me. Most fish in the 30" to 36" range. Also seeing large schools of small bass-20" and under-which is a great sign for the future. So far my numbers are up over last year.
