Decided to go back to my homebrewing roots and make my first batch of wine since 07! Pink Grapefruit blush. should be bottling in a couple weeks...pretty excited Needed a little "renewal" and refreshing break from the beer

So whats everyone brewing?

Nothing brewing right now. I almost never brew in the very hot weather.
Last batch was a Scotch Ale.
How do you make pink grapefruit wine Jenn?

I sort of "cheat" and get the ingredient kits. It is a grape wine flavored with grapefruit (not wine made from just grapefruit, though I did make that once, ONCE! It was like drinking brake kleen and we shall never speak of it again, ok? ).

This one is nice, light and refreshing when its too hot for anything else! It is a little sweeter than remember from the last time I made it but I have cut out much of the processed sugars in my diet for a while now so things I never thought were even remotely sweet to me before seem sweet to me now . The ingredient kit is put out by Niagra Mist.

Thanks. I have tried adding grapefruit to mead and while its drinkable its not delicious like say cranberry or cherry mead.
