They use an adhesive sandblast resist. On the surface and sand blast everything... Then they peel off the resist and presto. Clear glass under where the resist was, and everything else is frosted.

I would like to get ablative bottom paint that could do that. I always have tunes playing offshore and with the new subwoofer and fusion power amp I installed I think I could really activate the bottom and make it come alive!

The boat gets a "quick 24 hour haul" on Thursday for a quick powerwash/clean up, zinc renewal, gear oil change and 4 of these blue underwater lights.
