surf fishing

looking for input on surf fishing for styripers in new jersey. Would like to use eels, too soon? Your thoughts please

Never too soon for eels. But they do have a learning curve. I am certain someone must have posted a tutorial on here at one point or another regarding the subject.

From a couple (10?) years ago...

Only big difference is I use 7/0 Gammi HD Circle hooks and try NOT to cross their eyes on the hookset
